Anne Marie Yeakey, Kindergarten
My name is Anne Marie Yeakey! I am married to Kenny Yeakey. We have four grown children and two beautiful grandchildren! I have lived in Palestine for over thirty-five years and have taught in home, public, and private schools for most of those years! I have been at Christian Heritage Academy as a Kindergarten teacher since 2006. I was a Kilgore College Rangerette at Kilgore Jr. College from 1981-1983. I then went on to received my bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Stephen F. Austin State University in December 1985.
I love spending time with my family and grandchildren! I also love cooking, entertaining, gardening and reading. All my life I have loved children and have been involved in their development and education. Their is no greater joy than to hear and see your children or the little ones that you have taught walking in truth. Teaching young children to read is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects of teaching. I also love teaching the stories of the Bible and about Jesus! I teach because I love it, but I also feel called by God to teach not just academics but how to grow and develop the character of Christ in a child's mind and heart that will last forever!
